Today we went to the beginning of the Allegheny River in Northeast Pennsylvania with our long time friends of Merle and Carolyn Graves. Having grown up in the Pittsburgh area I have seen the end of the Allegheny many times where it joins the Monongahela River to form the Ohio. This was the first time I saw the beginning of the river!! If you look closely to the right of Carol's arm you can see the river. It is only about 2 feet wide here!!!

Carol was having a great time fighting the high winds we were having.
